It is my pleasure to recommend The Garden Retreat Bed and Breakfast to any future consultants for the district. I travel often and prefer a Bed and Breakfast to a hotel because of the quality of service and cleanliness. The accommodations at The Garden Retreat are impeccable. This 100 year-old house has been renovated by the innkeeper's husband who is a builder. Martha Stewart could not prepare better food nor serve it with any more style and grace. The gardens on the one acre lot surrounding the house are beautiful and add to the peaceful of the environment. I felt safe and attended to in every way. Please assure the leadership that any guest of the district would be well served. I chose the lesser expensive room because I'm frugal but the upstairs room and bath are even nicer.
This was one of the best birthday presents my wife has given me. Absolutely wonderful experience. We will be back.
So glad I decided to retreat up the street on my fall break! What a relaxing & wonderful sanctuary you have created here. I can't wait to bring my husband back for a little R&R!
Great, great place. You have done wonders here. Food was great and delicious. We will be back to stay when we come again to visit our son and grandson.
You are a delight as an innkeeper. Your taste is unexpected but becomes more appreciated as your guests stay, look around, and examine what you have created. Indianapolis will get great reviews when we get home. We won't think of staying anywhere else if the Grand Prix brings us back!
Thank you so much for your warm and gracious hospitality. The "retreat" was an unexpected blessing on our trip to Indianapolis! Especially enjoyed the balcony and being able to just sit and enjoy the beauty of nature. Am going home feeling renewed and "pampered"! The breakfasts were outstanding!
Thank you for such a wonderful weekend - a true renewal from everyday "stuff". Your attention to detail is inspiring...flowers, perfect colors, fabulous fabrics...all blend to make a person sigh upon entering. But more than that is the soul you have put into this endeavor. It is relaxing, peaceful, and spiritual...the exact thing we were looking for.

Having the flowers in our room was such a great touch. We hope to see you in the future when we are in the area for a Colts game.
